Wood polymer composites (WPCs) are composite materials created from a unique blend of natural wood particles/fibre and recycled plastic materials.

A combination of wood and thermoplastic such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) are mixed together called compounding.
